tebIQ is an AI medical scribe built by a practicing emergency physician. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest (AES), never used for training, and never sold. This page explains in plain words what each of those three statements means.

Never used for training
Many AI products improve by learning from what their users type or say. tebIQ does not use your data that way: what you dictate and the notes tebIQ writes from it are not used to train models.
tebIQ does use AI models to write your note. Using a model to produce your note for you is a different thing from using your note to train a model, and only the first one happens.
Never sold
Your data is not sold, rented or traded, and there are no ads in tebIQ. The Data Pledge, signed by the founder, covers your own personal information — your name, address, phone, email and specialty — and is not sold to advertisers, data brokers or drug companies.
The only outside companies that touch your data are the vendors that run the service: speech-to-text, an AI model provider, and cloud hosting. They work for tebIQ under contract and handle your data only to run the service.
Encrypted in transit and at rest (AES)
In transit means data is encrypted while it travels between your device and tebIQ. At rest means it is encrypted while it is stored, using AES.
Audio is kept only until your note is finalized, then automatically deleted.

These statements are not a certification, and tebIQ does not claim any. Security describes the controls in place, and the Data Pledge describes the promise about personal information.
tebIQ is decision support for the treating clinician. Every level, score, screen and draft is a suggestion to verify against the patient in front of you; you decide and you sign.
